Nandgaon (also called Nand Gram) is a sacred village in the Braj region of Uttar Pradesh, India, closely connected with the childhood pastimes (Bal Leela) of Lord Krishna. It is believed to be the place where Nanda Maharaj and Yashoda Maiya raised Krishna after leaving Gokul.
Nandgaon is about 8 km from Barsana and around 50 km from Mathura.

According to Vaishnava scriptures and Braj tradition:
After dangers from demons in Gokul, Nanda Maharaj shifted the residents to Nandgaon for safety.
Krishna spent His childhood years here, performing many playful pastimes with the cowherd boys (gopas).
Many beautiful leelas like Govardhan Leela memories, cow grazing pastimes, and Holi celebrations are associated with this village.
Nandgaon is considered one of the most important places in the 84 Kos Braj Parikrama.
