Puchri Ka Lotha is located at the southern end (tail end) of the sacred Govardhan Hill in Govardhan town, district Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, India.
It is an important stop during the 21 km Govardhan Parikrama.
📖 Meaning of “Puchri Ka Lotha”
“Puchri” means tail
“Lotha” means rounded portion or end part
Govardhan Hill is traditionally described as having the shape of a peacock.
Radha Kund is considered the “face” of the peacock.
Puchri Ka Lotha is considered the tail end of Govardhan.
That is why this place holds special symbolic importance.

According to Braj tradition:
This place is connected with Krishna’s cowherd pastimes.
It is believed that Krishna would bring cows here.
